Benefiting from a recent £50 million refurbishment and set amongst some of the best kept grounds in Berkshire, The Mansion House at Wokefield Park is certainly one of best wedding venues in the local area. Any golfers among you will know what exactly what we mean when we say that The Mansion House at Wokefield Park benefits from ‘manicured lawns’, not surprising when you appreciate that one of Berkshires finest Golf clubs, Wokefield Park Golf Club, resides within the ample grounds.

Wokefield Park benefits from over 250 acres of Royal Berkshires finest parkland and yes, you do have to trust your Sat Nav or map reading skills when navigating to this venue for the first time! On your drive to this wedding venue, you will likely pass the beautiful and quaint church, very popular with those looking for a traditional wedding with their wedding reception at Wokefield Park.

For those looking for a civil ceremony, Wokefield Park’s Mansion House is very well set to cater, no matter what the wedding party size, with over 6 separate licensed function rooms catering for anything up to 350 guests, there will be something here for you! As wedding photographers in Berkshire, venues like this provide a real treat! The space and flexibility of photographic opportunities here is fantastic!

On your arrival along the beautiful sweeping drive, you are immediately swept away into the peaceful and picturesque world of Wokefield. You are likely to be awestruck by those manicured lawns, the rolling hills and gardens, the romance of the lake and simply the overall setting. Trust us, this is how you want to start your wedding day/weekend!

As you step inside, you will immediately be impressed with just how well the designers here have got it right! The Mansion House at Wokefield Park blends the old with the new in a fantastic and seamless way. The Hotel’s main entrance to the right has a fantastically contemporary feel, with plenty of brushed metal, modern lighting and a photogenic tiered staircase that leads through to the reception rooms and bar areas.

If you were to enter via the front entrance, you are greeted in a very different way!

The elegant character of the original Mansion House at Wokefield Park is maintained but modernised. A more traditional staircase and landing is another great place for your wedding photographs.

To the rear of the Wokefield Park’s Mansion House, is both the terrace (fantastic for the drinks reception in fine weather!) and the lake and surrounding lawns.

For the really large guest list, the Lake Lawns have ample space for a marquee.
Whatever you choose, it can be dressed to suit the style and theme of your day.

Your wedding day memories needn’t end with the last dance here either. The 95 en-suite bedrooms at The Mansion House, Wokefield Park are fantastic! They benefit from very high quality bed-linens, soft lighting and plenty of space to relax and reminisce over the days events!

The ‘morning after’ you are treated to the best breakfast you could hope for, a sparkling Champagne breakfast with local farm-grown strawberries! Not a bad way to start you married life together!

For those looking to stay for a few days (recommended!) don’t forget to take advantage of that 18-hole USPGA standard championship Golf course. It has elevated tees, challenging streams, nine lakes and plenty of mature trees are a short walk (or golf buggy) away from the Mansion House at Wokefield Park, allowing you to blow of some steam, or walk off the hangover!

If you like you’re relaxing a little less mobile, or if you’re a fair weather golfer and the weather lets you down, we can definitely recommend the Spa facilities at Wokefield Park. Not much beats a long massage, manicure, pedicure or facial to soothe and re-energise!
Consider splashing out on a dual massage, lying side-by-side with your loved one!
