We have found that in recent times more and more frequently people are looking for something a little different from their wedding. It is less often, that we find a venue that offers exactly that – something different.
The Aviator represents a fantastic alternative to other more traditional wedding venues, let us explain why!

Entering through the main doors at The Aviator, you are immediately in sensory overload. This building has been designed and built to an immaculate standard, the main lobby area features a beautiful staircase that dominates and draws your eyes to the centre of the room and up!
From The Aviator entrance you can see all the way to the top floor, not uncommon with many modern buildings, but we are all so used to seeing uniform shapes and squared edges, as buildings go for maximum floor space.
The Aviator Hotel takes a different approach, offering up rounded edges and circles a plenty! This sounds odd, but gives the building such a beautiful and organic feel, you can’t help but warm to this design!

A Photographers Dream!
The Aviator Hotel features lighting strongly throughout the hotel. The enclosed spaces are lit dramatically and with great flair, giving countless photo opportunities for those, like us, that like a more dramatic image!

Everything within the Aviator Hotel simple oozes class, from the quality of the furniture and fittings to the way the Hotel building simply feels. The way the restaurant extends along the back of the building, with countless classic black and white images, giving the Hotel a real sense of occasion and true character that is difficult to achieve when everything is clearly new.

The Aviator Hotel makes no apologies for being a modern establishment and nor should it. Every room has features that draw your attention and stick with you long after you’ve left. We simply love the seated bar area, open ‘floating’ fireplaces and even the lift, which in most Hotels is the last place you’d look for a photo opportunity here more closely resembles the inside of an expensive handbag! You have to see it to understand!

Not an Obvious Choice?
The Aviator Hotel is first a foremost a business Hotel, a TAG owned and designed building built adjacent to TAG owned Farnborough Airport, its primary function is simply to wow people! Now who wouldn’t want their friends and families to be amazed by your contemporary choice of wedding venue. Be prepared for some funky shots here!!

Weddings are intended to be all about the bride and groom starting the rest of their life together, but they are also about you, your friends and your family having a good time!

The Aviator is a different affair all together. Where other Hotels draw you and your guests outside to wow you with their grounds, the Aviator is keenly focussed on wowing you indoors. As such, this potential wedding venue is a fantastic choice for those considering a Christmas wedding or some time off peak where the weather may not be suitable for an outside setting.

The Aviator Hotel does have a good sized patio and rear garden area, which is great for a few drinks outdoors on a hot summer’s day, it may not have the same scale of gardens as other hotels in the area, however the interior of this stunning wedding venue more than makes up for this!

One of the most charming things about the hotel are that many of the function rooms are actually on higher floors, with views overlooking the airport. The children and plane spotters will love this during the day, but everyone will enjoy when the sun sets and the airport is illuminated! The vision of an airport at night, is a rare and beautiful treat for most of us and really adds a special something atmosphere to the evening reception for any Wedding!

Due to an intelligent layout, the Aviator allows a wedding party to shy away from the main areas of the hotel frequented by unrelated guests, ensuring that the Hotel feels as exclusively yours as it does luxurious!

We whole heartedly recommend people check this Hotel out as a wedding venue with a difference, you cannot guarantee the weather, but you can guarantee you’ll be able to fully enjoy what this hotel has to offer come rain or shine!
