Rivervale Barn is situated close to the Horseshoe Lake nature reserve, between Sandhurst and Yateley in Hampshire but very close to the Berkshire and Surrey borders.

The beautiful River Blackwater runs alongside and is visible from the fantastic grounds.

This charming building is a purpose built and exclusive hire wedding venue, opening its doors for the first time this summer, in July 2009!

A labour of love, this stunning wedding venue is a physical embodiment of the passion and dreams that the current owners, Moyra and John, have poured into the venue.

We have yet to come across another wedding venue that has been built so thoughtfully considering exactly what couples want from a venue for their wedding day!

Moyra has gone so far as to purchase multiple cushions for the bridal suite, so that the room doesn’t clash with your chosen colour scheme! Now THAT is attention to detail you will be lucky to find elsewhere!

This incredible thoughtfulness is visible everywhere, from the amazing bridal suite that enjoys a direct link, through a grand arched door into the stunning ceremony room. All rooms are linked and entirely enclosed, great for our British weather!

Rivervale Barn is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in their Ceremony Barn, but also enjoys close proximity to some really beautiful churches. The Wedding Ceremony Barn is linked to the Wedding Reception Barn but both enjoy generous space and intelligently designed partitions, ensuring that your day flows well and never feels constrained.

Having a wedding venue that has been specifically built with weddings in mind, that is so beautifully designed and well situated pays dividends for not only the atmosphere on the day but also for your wedding photography!

Everything here is a wedding photographers dream! From the stunning bridal suite with traditional beams, raised feature bed and a real fireplace, through the gorgeous Ceremony and Reception Barn rooms with ideal vantage points created specifically to provide your wedding photographer with multiple choices and angle options. A real treat if you are having two wedding photographers as the coverage (and hopefully photos!) will be exceptional!

This fantastic wedding venue offers bridal couples a lot more than just an exquisite indoors setting, in truth the landscaped gardens and grounds are as just as much of an attraction if not more so! Rivervale Barn features absolutely stunning and mature grounds, including a generous terrace and a beautiful 3 tier waterfall into the well maintained and generously sized pond. If you are fortunate to have your wedding in late spring or early summer, the colours from the wide range of plants is absolutely stunning. Attention to detail in the gardens is again apparent, offering a good range of flowering plants and colours throughout the main wedding season.

You’ll be pleased to know that both catering and accommodation is well covered at Rivervale Barn. The bridal couple obviously have the complimentary Bridal Suite but the owners have also struck up a fantastic deal with local hotels and Taxi firms to ensure that your wedding guests have no cause for concern. The room rate they have negotiated when we spoke to them was staggering which, considering the location, is amazing!

The caterers provided by Rivervale Barn are absolutely superb, providing flexible menu options and bespoke meals, specific to your individual requirements.

The Rivervale Barn events team will assist you with all planning and help with the co-ordination of your day, relieving much of the stress and adding some great ideas!

As this venue is still relatively new, it is being offered at incredible value rates, considering the quality, location and the price of similar venues, don’t waste any time in booking this place as we don’t expect the dates to hang around for long!
