Yesterday we photographed Manesh & Kerry’s wedding at Rivervale Barn.
They wanted to have two ceremonies during their day, a civil ceremony and a traditional Hindu ceremony.
This did mean that their day was a busy one, but with it ran to schedule, which is quite an achievement for any wedding day, let alone one with two ceremonies!
Kerry looked amazing in both of her beautiful wedding dresses and rendered Manesh mostly speechless when revealed in her Indian wedding dress & jewelery.
Manesh is one of those characters that stays with you, once met never forgotten! His personality and beaming smile was infectious and it was clear that everyone had a great day.
The Hindu ceremony was really great to photograph, despite being cut back to just over an hour (a traditional Hindu wedding can last up to 5 days!), it was so colourful and visual!
From Manesh’s grand entrance to the tune of a beating drum to the fire pit and blessings, it was simply beautiful to witness.
Kerry & Manesh are a fantastic couple and we were really pleased to be a part of their day. A testament to their sheer like-ability are their fantastic friends, so many great personalities, gorgeous girlies and (very) cheeky chappies. We stayed late into the evening providing our flaunt service which went down a storm and provided lots of laughs!
We wish both Manesh and Kerry all the best for their future together, here’s a few shots from their special day:
