Wokefield Park was a stunning wedding venue to celebrate the marriage of Vicky and Alex at the weekend.
Vicky looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful dress and both she and Alex looked very much in love!
They were great to photograph together and were keen to take advantage of the beautiful setting at Wokefield Park. One novel touch that went down really well with the kids (young and old!) was their bouncy castle!
It wasn’t the only surprise for the guests though, as Vicky’s dad had organised an amazing fireworks display for just after dark!
Congratulations to both Vicky & Alex, we hope they have a fab honeymoon! Here are a few pics from their special day!
Wokefield Park was the venue choice for Sam & Kirk. Not only was it their special day yesterday but it was also both of their Birthdays!
The weather was beautiful and Sam looked amazing in one of the most beautiful dresses we have seen. They enjoyed an intimate ceremony at Wokefield and made use of the gorgeous grounds to create some fabulous shots.
We hope you have a great honeymoon and the Volcanic ash doesn’t prevent you for travelling!
Wokefield Park was the wedding venue of choice for Vikki and George on Sunday, an absolutely stunning day in April!
The sun was shining all day long, which really allowed them to make full use of Wokefield Park’s generous grounds and beautiful terrace area.
Both Vikki and George were great fun to photograph with their fantastic personalities really coming through in their images. We couldn’t help but laugh along with Vikki, George and their bridal party as they were all an absolute joy to work with.
The guests enjoyed a fantastic talking point, with every table having an amazing centre piece! A large cylindrical vase, filled with water, a beautiful rose submerged and two small goldfish for company dominated the table and many of the conversations! A superb and novel centrepiece for the wedding breakfast!
We also can’t help but mention one of the greatest best men speech we’ve seen!
Clearly a lot of effort had gone into this with video messages, wigs, aprons, gloves and other props plus, the highlight, a ‘tweaked’ rendition of a Beatles Classic, Hey Jude George. Brilliant.
Please see below for a sneak peak at some of the photos from their big day!
Yesterday we attended the exclusive Burns Charity event at Wokefield Park.
We were really impressed at how Wokefield Park was transformed, elaborately decorated traditional Scottish theme the venue looked amazing!
All involved with the theme did a fantastic job at creating some fabulous atmosphere for this special event.
Guests were welcomed by a piper for their grand entrance along with a glass of champagne and were set for a fantastic night, all for a great cause.
It was great fun to watch the guests taking part in the games and really getting into the spirit of the event, from a hilarious dance-off to the ‘must-have’ charity event game of heads and tails.
There was an auction with some fabulous prizes, a raffle and one lucky individual even won a brand new Mini!!
Towards the end of the evening a piper performed for the guests along with some fantastic traditional Scottish dancers who really got people in the mood for the band that followed!
Everybody seemed to throughly enjoy themselves and the event proved a huge success raising plenty of money for charity!
Congratulations to Jo & Matt who were married on Saturday on what has been one of the most beautiful days in December we have ever photographed at Wokefield Park. Who could ask for more, glorious sunshine and a snow covered Wokefield Park – everything a bride and groom could wish for, simply magical!
Jo looked stunning in her gorgeous dress and Matt simply could not stop smiling all day!
We had such fun photographing these two, both Laura and I were really impressed that Jo didn’t blink about wading into the snow, despite her open toe shoes…for a good 15-20 minutes! 10/10 for effort!! Sometimes you have to suffer for your art… haha!
Well done to the Bestmen who gave a great speech which provided lots of laughter! We couldn’t help chuckling ourselves whilst taking the photos!
A special touch – singing The Twelve Days of Christmas, all 12 tables joined in for each verse and chorus! Each time the next verse started, guests became more and more competitive to sing the loudest or do actions and everyone really got into the Christmas spirit! Such fun and a memorable moment for us and for everyone there.
Jo and Matt we wish you all the best, congratulations on your amazing wedding day!
It was truly an enjoyable day and we hope you enjoy your honeymoon to Lapland you lucky things – where you will enjoy even more snow than here!!!
