We were very happy to be asked back to photograph De Vere Venues Annual Charity Burns Night at Wokefield Park for the third consecutive year.
This fantastic evening raises money for the Variety Club Children’s Charity and has raised over £200k during the past 3 years.
Wokefield Park’s Mansion House was again treated to incredible projection effects courtesy of SFL Group. This year this included active flames, stunning tartan and GB flag for the launch of De Vere’s Great British Hospitality initiative (if only someone had remembered to turn their bathroom light off!)
The interior was treated to a total transformation again this year courtesy of the ever impressive Cherubs and Bluehat UK.
Bluehat UK designed, built & installed all the dressing in the Mortimer, Old Lounge and Palmer rooms, the 10m horses painting in the bar and the bar lounge pseudo panelling as well as all of the wall decorations, tapestries, paintings, drapes, flicker flames, mirror decorations and screens behind the mini. You get the picture… the scale of the undertaking and quality of execution, never fails to impress!
Guests were escorted to the venue in a fleet of fantastic BMW cars and were greeted by a team of bagpipers & drummers along with a glass of champagne! Definitely a great way to start the evening!
As you might expect, the gourmet food, entertainment, haggis, games and all round atmosphere was excellent!
In a bid to help raise money, some fantastic prizes were auctioned off and one lucky chap won a brand new mini @ midnight!
All in all the night was another amazing success, this year the target of £75k was smashed and over £82k was raised for the Variety Club Children’s Charity.
Everybody appeared to thoroughly enjoy themselves and with such successful night’s fundraising!
We hope to see you all again next year!
On Sunday we were at the fabulous Wokefield Park photographing Gary & Deb’s special day!
Deb’s dress was beautiful with some lovely detailed sections on the back.
Given the changeable weather recently, we were thrilled to see the sun shining! Everyone was able to make full use of the fantastic grounds and many did enjoy a glass of Pimms or champagne on the terrace, overlooking the gardens and lake!
Wokefield Park is a fantastic wedding venue for guests & photographers alike and we enjoyed making the most of the stunning location!
Gary & Debs are great together, they both have fantastic personalities which we enjoyed capturing with our photography through the day!
In the evening guests were treated to an opportunity to play Blackjack & Roulette in the bar area as well as an opportunity to enjoy our mobile studio service Flaunt!
We really enjoyed being a part of their wedding day & captured some great shots through the day, here is a sneak peak at a few!
The event is run to raise money for a great charity and does an amazing job!
On approach everyone was wowed by the incredible lighting effects, highlighting Wokefield Park’s mansion house in incredible tartan effects and an incredible flame effect!
The interior was no less impressive and again we were really impressed at how Wokefield Park was transformed! Well done Cherubs!
Guests were greeted by a piper for their grand entrance along with a glass of champagne and were set for a fantastic night, all for a great cause.
Again they auctioned off some fantastic prizes and one lucky chap won a brand new mini!
The event raised over £67k for charity, topping last years total!
Everybody appeared to throughly enjoy themselves and with such successful night, we hope to see you all again next year!
Carla & Martyn were married at All Saints Church in Binfield and despite the downpour moments before Carla arrived, the day soon brightened up!
Since we first met this great couple, their family has grown with the addition of their little baby Erin, a proper little cutie! Carla looked fantastic in her gorgeous wedding dress and could not stop smiling throughout the day!
We were happy to be allowed to photograph relatively freely during the ceremony, a nice change that allowed us to discreetly capture the emotions of this important part of the day!
From here it was on to the fantastic Wokefield Park, where we were lucky enough to have freedom to enjoy the beautiful grounds and Mansion House, plenty of photo opportunities!
As a recommended photographer for Wokefield, we love shooting here!
Carla’s mum & dad organised a nice surprise for the couple, Anthony John the (amazing!) magician. He always has everyone bemused and laughing in equal measure, he is utterly fantastic.
Carla & Martyn were so natural together and a real pleasure to photograph, we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their big day!
