Yesterday we were back at the stunning Rivervale Barn for Matt & Sarah’s wedding day!
It was great to see Laura from LK Luxury Chair Covers dressing the chairs with gorgeous red sashes and
Natasha (www.nwmake-up.co.uk) who provided hair and makeup for Sarah and her girlies.
The honeymoon cottage was full of atmosphere as all of Sarah’s bridesmaids, flower girls and pageboys arrived to join in the celebrations. We have never seen so many flowergirls & pageboys, it made for some cute photos – full of character!
Sarah was clearly excited to be marrying Matt, the ceremony was lovely and they were both beaming away at each other, just perfect.
The weather was just amazing, their guests enjoyed the beautiful sun in the courtyard area and we were happy to make full use of the gardens too for Matt & Sarah’s photos together.
It was great to see Matt & Sarah so happy on their wedding day, congratulations to both of them and we hope they enjoy their honeymoon in bonny Scotland!
Here’s a sneaky peek at a few images from their special day!
Yesterday we were back at the beautiful Rivervale Barn for Adam and Catherine’s wedding day.
What a fabulous day for a wedding, we could not have hoped for better weather for this lovely couple!
Catherine looked gorgeous in her dress and we loved the green theme.
It was so vibrant and colourful – just how we love our photography to be!
Their guests were treated to a surprise during the wedding breakfast… three talented singers from Soprano Bella, two dressed as firemen! We were blown away with how entertaining they were and there was such an amazing atmosphere!
It’s quite normal for us to see the groom with his heads in his hands during the best man speech, but on this occasion many of the wedding guests also felt Adam’s pain!
The best men delivered a great speech that had most guests laughing and squirming in equal measure in their seats!
It was great to work with Roger again from Diamond Films we really admire his work and the style he creates. There was a lovely atmosphere at this wedding so we’ve no doubts their wedding video will be hugely entertaining!
We loved the tunes coming from Innovents for Adam and Catherine’s evening disco. The dance floor and wedding breakfast area looked amazing with the green uplights supplied that complimented their colour theme perfectly!
We wish Adam & Catherine all the best for their married life together & hope they have an amazing honeymoon!
On Wednesday we were back at the beautiful Rivervale Barn to photograph their latest tasting event.
As always, the set up looked fantastic with many of the recommended suppliers decorating the barn ready for the event!
Nick and his team did a super job, the food looked amazing and (trust me on this) it tasted just as good as it looked!
Everyone was in high spirits and thoroughly enjoyed sampling all the different food and drink choices on offer.
Thank you again to Hayley and the events team for creating a fantastic evening. We are really looking forward to another year of weddings at the incredible Rivervale Barn.
What a beautiful day for a wedding! We heard that more times yesterday than we have for some time…
Alan & Zoe were the lucky couple to have not only a white wedding, but beautiful blue skies too, we were very happy to be there to photograph it for them!
We captured some photos of Zoe getting ready in their beautiful home, she looked amazing in her stunning dress and long veil, before heading on to a very snowy St. Mary’s Church in Eversley.
After the lovely ceremony, complete with amazing children’s choir, we took some photo’s outside the church and despite the cold everyone was beaming with smiles!
From here it was a short drive down the road to Warbrook House, to celebrate at the drinks reception & wedding breakfast. It was a great setting for a wedding at this time of year, with plenty of space and beautiful views out across the gardens! Alan & Zoe had arranged for a harpist to serenade their guests during the drinks reception, which was really added to the atmosphere.
There was a lovely intimate room all set for their wedding breakfast at Warbrook House, featuring personalised candles and amazing individual frames with photos of each of the wedding guests acting as place cards (in Zoe’s own words… “thank you facebook!”).
Alan & Zoe were fantastic together and a pleasure to photograph. They braved the cold to make the most of the beautiful day without hesitation which resulted in some great shots of their lovely wedding day.
We left Alan, Zoe and guests to enjoy their wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. We wish them well for their future together as a married couple!
Here’s a sneaky peak at a few of their images from their special day!
We were very happy to be asked back to photograph De Vere Venues Annual Charity Burns Night at Wokefield Park for the third consecutive year.
This fantastic evening raises money for the Variety Club Children’s Charity and has raised over £200k during the past 3 years.
Wokefield Park’s Mansion House was again treated to incredible projection effects courtesy of SFL Group. This year this included active flames, stunning tartan and GB flag for the launch of De Vere’s Great British Hospitality initiative (if only someone had remembered to turn their bathroom light off!)
The interior was treated to a total transformation again this year courtesy of the ever impressive Cherubs and Bluehat UK.
Bluehat UK designed, built & installed all the dressing in the Mortimer, Old Lounge and Palmer rooms, the 10m horses painting in the bar and the bar lounge pseudo panelling as well as all of the wall decorations, tapestries, paintings, drapes, flicker flames, mirror decorations and screens behind the mini. You get the picture… the scale of the undertaking and quality of execution, never fails to impress!
Guests were escorted to the venue in a fleet of fantastic BMW cars and were greeted by a team of bagpipers & drummers along with a glass of champagne! Definitely a great way to start the evening!
As you might expect, the gourmet food, entertainment, haggis, games and all round atmosphere was excellent!
In a bid to help raise money, some fantastic prizes were auctioned off and one lucky chap won a brand new mini @ midnight!
All in all the night was another amazing success, this year the target of £75k was smashed and over £82k was raised for the Variety Club Children’s Charity.
Everybody appeared to thoroughly enjoy themselves and with such successful night’s fundraising!
We hope to see you all again next year!
