The Berystede Hotel is a wedding venue in Ascot and is a must see wedding venue for couples looking for a venue with plenty of character, rooms to stay and capacity for celebrations from the small to the very large.

To give it its full name, The Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa, is a 4-star venue beautifully styled to mimic a French Chateau including the turrents which adds a lot of character to this fantastic wedding venue!

As wedding photographers for Ascot and Berkshire, we have enjoyed shooting a number of weddings and events at this fantastic venue.

Its main house is quite a site, greeting you and your guests with a lot of visual clout, enhanced further by the full red carpet treatment and champagne reception!

As with many other wedding venues in Ascot, the Berystede is surrounded by private gardens, beautifully landscaped with feature points including a summer house, stunning mature trees and a private terrace area where you can enjoy drinks overlooking the garden areas. This really is a lovely setting for your wedding and with the Berystede standing tall behind you, its easy to forget the rest of the world are out there beyond the venue grounds going on with their lives.

The Berystede is one of the most wet weather friendly venues we have had the pleasure of photographing at. Not only is there plenty of space on offer indoors (an absolute must if the weather turns nasty!), but there are plenty of photographic opportunities. Most of our wedding couples have requested shots on the beautiful chandelier lit main wooden staircase which features prominently in the main hall.

The Berystede Hotel is fully licenced for civil ceremonies and has fantastic capacity, seating up to 280 comfortably in the beautiful and naturally lit Windsor & Eton suite while smaller weddings may prefer the more intimate setting of the Park & Ascot suite. There are plenty of reasons to hold your wedding reception at the Berystede Hotel in Ascot and the choice of beautiful suites has to rank quite highly.

Both suites are very well presented, with bright neutral colours and private bar areas meaning that other hotel guests are kept well separated from your event, leaving you to feel like you have exclusive use of this beautiful wedding venue.

Each of the couples booking The Berystede for their wedding and wedding receptions benefit from their own personal wedding co-ordinator to help you plan the day as well as a professional toastmaster should you have more then 40 guests.

We have always been impressed with the toastmasters at this great venue, very professional, polite and with commanding voices to rally your guests, they make a massive difference in keeping your wedding day flowing well.

Another thing definitely worthy of mention is the food on offer here, its absolutely fantastic! They are very proud of the quality of their food at The Berystede and use fresh, local ingredients wherever possible. But don’t just take our word for it, as some of the wedding packages include a complimentary menu tasting, go check it out for yourselves!

With hundreds of beautiful & comfortable bedrooms available for your guests and a late bar, you are free to party long into the night knowing you don’t have far to go to put your head down!

On Saturday Karen & Allan were married at the High Cross Church in Camberley and celebrated their wedding at the fantastic Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa in Ascot.

We started the day photographing Karen during her bridal preparations before zipping off ahead to capture Allan and his best man before the ceremony at High Cross Church in Camberley.

It was a lovely ceremony with plenty of smiles and laughs through the service! Karen & Allan were greeted by fantastic sunshine as they left the church and made their way on to The Macdonald Berystede Hotel for their wedding reception.

With such great weather, they were able to make full use of all the beautiful Berystede Hotel had to offer both inside and out, from the spacious terrace and garden areas to the stunning chandelier lit main staircase!

Karen and Allan were a pleasure to photograph, they were clearly very much in love and looked great together. We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their special day and wish them every happiness for their future together!

On Friday Becky & Lee were married in Wokingham & celebrated their wedding at the fantastic Macdonald Berystede Hotel in Ascot.

The day started with bridal preparation at Lee’s parent’s house before moving on to All Saints Church in Wokingham for the ceremony itself. It was Becky’s mum who conducted the ceremony which gave it a very warm relaxed atmosphere.

Once married any pre-wedding nerves that Becky & Lee had felt visibly melted away and they looked so happy together.

From the Church it was on to the fantastic Berystede Hotel in Ascot, a Macdonald Hotel where the day ran so smoothly for them both! A red carpet greeted the newlyweds and we whisked them off in the beautiful sun to capture some lovely photographs in the gardens of Berystede Hotel while their guests arrived from the Church.

As with the sister Hotel, Frimley Hall, the Berystede has a stunning chandelier lit main staircase which provided another glamorous setting for some photographs of this lovely couple!

Becky looked amazing in her beautiful wedding dress & Lee didn’t stop smiling all day!

Lee’s speech was one of the best & funniest we’ve had the pleasure of witnessing! Mostly overcome with emotion, Lee battled through the tears and had the guests in fits of laughter.
Clearly a great guy with a big heart!
