Yesterday we photographed Mark & Catherine’s special day.

We started the morning at the Pelican Inn in Froxfield to capture a few shots pre-ceremony. This picturesque restaurant put on a fantastic light lunch & had plenty of character, as the weather was pretty grim we made full use of the contemporary feel inside.

After the light lunch with close family, it was on to the ceremony at The Kingdom Hall in Watchfield! It was a lovely ceremony with some great tips and lots of laughter.

We then headed onto the canape reception a few minutes down the road where we enjoyed capturing all Mark & Catherine’s family and friends celebrating their special day. They served a variety of cakes, all home made, and we can vouch for just how yummy they were!
The weather brightened up so we took full advantage and took our group shots outside! Special thanks to Rudolph for helping us translate to Catherine’s family members from France!

The final venue of the day was the stunning Pitt Hall Barn in Basingstoke for the evening reception. Catherine’s attention to detail was amazing, everything had been hand made and the setting looked absolutely beautiful!

We stayed into the evening and particularly enjoyed capturing Mark & Catherine’s friends and family taking full advantage of our Flaunt Service!
It was one of the most fun we have done yet!
Everyone was really enjoying themselves &  there was plenty of laughter to compliment the great music that provided the soundtrack to all the fun we were having! Thanks to Beat’n'Bop for the great songs!

The shots we got will certainly make Mark & Catherine smile for years to come!

Every venue has a jewel in its crown and for Pitt Hall Barn there is no exception, you will be blown away by their beautiful marquee featuring a ‘star curtain’ ceiling. The atmosphere this creates within the marquee has to be experienced to be fully appreciated, its simply beautiful.

Dotted with twinkling lights this creates a truly romantic atmosphere. We couldn’t help but stare at the lights for ages! So effective and usually not an option with most marquees!

The barn is a good size and can host up to 80 guests when seated on round tables and with the use of the marquee this capacity can stretch to 250 guests!

A sofa at the top of the stairs in the barn area, the barn area itself and the gorgeous marquee offer obvious choices. Outside are overhangs to keep dry but yet still capture some great couple shots, an empty shack can also offer some really artistic opportunities and allow you both to get into the spirit of a true traditional English themed wedding!!
