Wedding Photographers

LJ Photographics was founded by me, Laura, as I followed my lifelong passion for creative art and photography in particular. Having graduated with an honours degree in photography and having worked with other professional wedding photographers, portraiture photographers and commercial photographers for a number of years, I found the inspiration that I needed to set up on my own company!

Having always shared my passion for photography, Richard has worked alongside me for a number of years and also takes his own wedding bookings.

Richard has a massive creative streak and often provides new takes on traditional shots; his wedding photography frequently delivers images that really capture the imagination.
He is also responsible for the design and creation of this website, so hopefully you can already see the style that we as a company provide!

 

We are a young and vibrant company and love to work with couples who share in our sense of fun. Many of our wedding couples like to take part in some of the laughter inducing staged photos that we can help you set up; there is simply no substitute for natural smiles!

We simply aim to capture the emotion and personality that our wedding couples inject into their wedding days and deliver stunningly beautiful photographs that will make your friends and family say wow!

Professional Photography Manipulation

We are able to improve skin tone and colour, enhance eyes, remove unwanted blemishes, bags and spots, improve image composition, lighting and contrast to name but a few of the services! Who wouldn't want that!?

It seemed that I was right, as word is quickly spreading and our feedback has been nothing but exceptional! We have even had couples switch to us from other photographers on the strength of recommendations and the images on our website.

Second Wedding Photographer

Having a second wedding photographer present, which we do at the majority of the weddings that we photograph, gives so much more flexibility in the wedding photographs that we are able to take. You only get one shot at capturing those special moments during your day and having a strong second photographer doubles your chances of catching them. We use a select pool of second photographers that we know share our enthusiasm and creative style to give us the flexibility and coverage options that you rightly deserve!

Contrary to the practices of many other photographers, we provide our wedding couples with full copyright and reproduction rights to their wedding photographs, allowing them to be shared freely with your loved ones and reproduced at your leisure. We are also able to offer very high quality custom designed wedding albums and have a variety of styles, colours and finishes available, from classic to modern and contemporary - something to suit all tastes! Each of our albums are of the highest quality to ensure that the work that goes into your wedding photographs is reflected by the album, you wouldn't want amazing wedding photo's in an ordinary album!
